The ALLERTON is a three bedroom, 38'x12' caravan. New for 2008, this caravan fits comfortably into Devon Cliffs classification of PLATINUM standard (see 'CARAVANS' for our definition of PLATINUM), with a veranda. This magnificent caravan comes with all mod cons such as digibox, DVD player etc, but best of all, this caravan is sited on one of the coveted seafront sites at Devon Cliffs holiday park, between our PARK LANE and DEVON . Plus, our most recent addition to our small fleet is very reasonably priced HATHAWAY which is sited behind, but with views between our Seafront three. Thus, though sited on the second row back, the HATHAWAY also has access to those wonderful sea views, and lends itself admirably to multiple bookings. This is arguably the quietest part of Devon Cliffs holiday park. This part of the park also offers what are arguably the best views available at Devon Cliffs. This caravan lends itself admirably to those seeking two, three or even four caravans next door to each other. Yet still only just a few minutes walk from the 'Main Holiday Complex' at Devon Cliffs holiday park. Panoramic views of Lyme Bay from the balcony of this caravan are second to none. On a clear day it is possible to see Portland Bill at the Eastern end of Lyme Bay some 58 miles distant. In addition all manner of wildlife can be seen from this spot. Wildlife seen include badgers, deer, birds of prey such as kestrels, and of course rabbits by the score. Guests frequently tell us they have seen of porpoises, and the occasional whale. (We suspect the 'whales' were probably Basking Sharks). Maximum of Six in this caravan. Parents with
young children are welcome, although the caravan is not equipped
for very young children/babies. There is no smoking and no pets
in this caravan, although we should point out that the caravan
belongs to a dog owner
who uses it out of season. However, the caravan is
professionally steam cleaned prior to the summer letting season.
